For Pincha Pepper hanging installation, if the room height is four or higher the dupes cannot reach them from below without help. In a 16x4 layout, I would take one edged of a room, have the door be in the upper 2 blocks, container over pit, stairs down to the bottom floor to use the rest of the space normally. Make sure your dupes can reach the farm tile either from above or below. I have not really done the 'pit' yet, but starting to think that is the best option.I moved my farm closer to Ice Biome and made a room out of insulated tiles and pumped it full of oxygen. But it's hard to maintain the temperature because this game clearly sucks at thermal mechanics. It can be further automated by Auto-Sweeper. So I am closer to 100 cycle and I want for my dupes something good to eat and tried to make a bristle blossom farm.Irrigation (liquid delivery) is automated by Hydroponic Farm, but fertilization (solid delivery) will still need to be supplied by Duplicants.Although it consumes more power than the Lamp and provides the same amount of light radius when placed on a 4-tiles high ceiling, the Ceiling Light has the invaluable ability to be placed in areas that arent usually filled with other structures. See Farm Tile for tips Hydroponic Farms is just a pipe-able version of Farm Tile. Ceiling Light improves Decor Opinion and reduces Stress by providing Light. Tile can act as decent radiator for its contents what should be considered if there is not enough cooling(or heating) to farm if liquid(and/or fertilizer) at temperature outside plants growth range, Supplying wrong Liquid will stifle the plant growth until the Hydroponic Farm is emptied. Arbor Tree and Thimble Reed use Polluted Water.Pincha Pepper uses Polluted Water and shall be planted downward.I know they need a lot of water, but the water in my pipe seems to just randomly 'stop'. On my modest farm, only a few of the blossoms get enough water to grow, and i can't determine why. Bristle Blossom, Sleet Wheat and Oxyfern use Water. Hello I'm currently on my first successfull run, topping my record at cycle 91 for now, and I'm having difficulties growing Bristle blossoms. Following plants are recommended to be planted with Hydroponic Farm: Hydroponic Farms allow liquid delivery for irrigation. It can be used as floor tile and rotated (upside-down) before construction. Hydroponic Farm grows a single plant when sown with a seed.
